Ruby the ringmistress

This fun card is being entered in the following challenges
The Mildura show
and
(if you would like a closer look just click on the image)

Not the best photography today, sorry, but nevertheless you can see my creation just not in the best light.
Kraftin Kimmie is looking for new Krafty Girls to show off their great stamps and since i love their stamps so much i thought i would give it a go, fingers crossed.
I have used one of their fab stamps "Ruby the Ringmistress" and coloured her using derwent inktense pencils.

I have made a standard easel card and used my cameo to cut out the intricate frame which stands out in red on the card.
I used kaisercraft cardstock and paper. The little tickets were from my stash (i got them cheap from a store ages ago which was closing down)
The sentiment stamp "you're the main attraction" came with the Ruby Ringmistress stamp from kraftin kimmie and the happy birthday sentiment is computer generated.
Hope you like :)

This card is being entered in The Sketchy Challenges #55 - Cordine's sketch
(if you would like a closer look just click on the picture)

I have made a boo boo! I drew a rough sketch of the challenge sketch but when i was putting my card together i put it back to front

This is the actual sketch from the challenge blog and as you can see my design is back the front. I must of had my piece of paper upside down
Nevermind i thought i would enter it anyway.
I have used a Time for tea designs stamp called "bubbles" and coloured it in with derwent inktense pencils.
I used a little glossy accents on the bubbles to make them more like the real thing.
I used Kaisercraft cardstock and patterned paper.
The happy birthday sentiment circle was made by me and I printed it out on the computer then punched it out with my trusty 1.5" circle punch, then i used my scallop circle 1.3/4"punch
I used an EK success scallop edge punch on the image frame.
Neat huh?

Sadly my husbands Pop died lastnight, due to an infection so it seems.
Although i didn't know him very well he was a wonderful Dad, Poppy and husband.
This card i made for his wife to make sure she knows she is loved by her family eventhough her love of her life has passed.

Here i am again with another challenge card.
This time i will be entering it in two challenges.
KennyK's Krafty Krew challenge #153 - Case challenge cards and
Alphabet Challenge - N for newest stamp

Here are the links for both pages if you would like to take a look at the other entrants or join in
(if you would like a closer look just click on the photos)
I have cased Danielle's card who cased Cheryl's card. So technically you could say i cased Cheryl's card.

Anyhow i have used a Kenny K rubber stamp "Christmas Hottie" and coloured her in with inktense pencils.
The cardstock and paper used are all from Kaisercraft and i sponged on copper versa mark ink along the edges.
I used spellbinder shapeabilities (i think from memory) for all the little diecuts.
I used a Embossalicious holly embossing folder to give the larger die cut a bit of christmassy holly look.
I also used a martha stewart bell punch.
The ribbons are from my stash and i used a little bit of liquid pearls to make the little holly berries and ad a bit of glam to the die cut edges.

Shes one hot little helper huh!
Enjoy, Erica

Tuesday, 20 August 2013

Hello again, hope we are all well.

Loves Rubberstamps challenge #66 - Round or Square cards.
Here is the link if you would like to have a look at some of the other entries or take up the challenge yourself

(If you would like a closer look just click on the photo)
