Angelic

This card is entering the following challenges
Mildura Show - Any other card

Make it crafty had a sale over the weekend and i had to purchase this gorgeous digi "Angelica in flight"
I have coloured her with Derwent Inktense pencils. You can see the stages in my pics.
The first pic you can see the overall colour laid down then in pic 2 the shading is getting darker

Pic 3 i have added the skin colour and shading then in pic 4 i have coloured up her wings

Here she is all complete. Took a fair amount of time but was an enjoyable challenge :)
I mounted the image on a doily i cut out with my cameo then mounted that onto some Kaisercraft patterned christmas paper and then onto some fern coloured kaisercraft card and then finally the card base in Scarlet red, again from Kaisercraft.

(if you would like a closer look just click on the image)

I embellished with cheery lyn small flourish die cuts and cherry blossoms from I Am Roses. I also used a Martha Stewart leaf punch and added some champagne coloured beaded garland sprays

Phew that took some effort but turned out fab!

Bubble birthday

This card is being entered in The Sketchy Challenges #55 - Cordine's sketch
(if you would like a closer look just click on the picture)

I have made a boo boo! I drew a rough sketch of the challenge sketch but when i was putting my card together i put it back to front

This is the actual sketch from the challenge blog and as you can see my design is back the front. I must of had my piece of paper upside down
Nevermind i thought i would enter it anyway.
I have used a Time for tea designs stamp called "bubbles" and coloured it in with derwent inktense pencils.
I used a little glossy accents on the bubbles to make them more like the real thing.
I used Kaisercraft cardstock and patterned paper.
The happy birthday sentiment circle was made by me and I printed it out on the computer then punched it out with my trusty 1.5" circle punch, then i used my scallop circle 1.3/4"punch
I used an EK success scallop edge punch on the image frame.
Neat huh?

Angels we have heard on high!

This card is being entered in the Lovesrubberstampschallenges challenge #68 Anything goes
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long challenge #32- layers
Sweet Stampin' challenge - got the blues
and Crafthazelnut's Christmas challenge #141 - layer it up
(if you would like a closer look just click on the picture)
I have used a Kraftin Kimmie rubber stamp called 'Aurelia' and have coloured her using inktense pencils from Derwent.
The cardstock is from kaisercraft and the wool ribbon (thats what i'm calling it) is from Spotlight. You can get a whole ball of it for like $5 BARGAIN!
The snowflake die is from Joy crafts and i have added a little baby blue glitter embossing powder to them.
The sentiment came with the stamp and i have embossed it in silver.
I figured because she is an angel she has to glow like one so i sponged a little yellow ink around her, looks a bit rough but i like it.
