Lucy Loo 'Bobbed'

It is new release day over at The East Wind for this awesome image from Unky called Lucy loo 'Bobbed'
Isn't she fabulous?

I have coloured her firstly with the limited copics I have and then I added some extra details with polychromos pencils. I so love the bright pink hair against the black as a contrast with a hint of mint, don't you?
The lacey cut out I did on my cameo and I heat embossed the edge with gold powder. The cardstock and paper used is from Kaisercraft 'All that glitters' collection.

I hope you love my card and that it has given you some inspiration. Don't forget to check out the current challenges going on over at The East Wind challenge blog and the facebook fan group.

DT inspiration for 'DRAWING"

It is new release day over at The East Wind etsy store of this fabulous digital stamp drawn by Unky. It is called Lucy Loo 'Drawing'.
As soon as I saw it I put my hand up to colour it ;)

Here is the sneak peek I shared on my Instagram account

The front of my finished card.

My card open.

I used ballpoint pens to colour the bright colours and then used polychromos to shade her sepia.
I coloured the greyish background with inktense pencils and then washed over it with water.
I drew in a graffiti type style sentiment 'Colour Your World' to finish off the card.
I hope I have inspired you with my card. I had a lot of fun making it :)

It is my nieces birthday next week and she just got a new kitten for the occasion so off I went on the hunt for a cute little girl and cat digi and I came across this gorgeous one called 'Marion' from Mo Manning's online store. I can always count on Mo to have a perfect image, she is so talented.

Anyhooo I coloured the image with polychromos pencils.
The fancy folded card design is a bookfold. I love this design, it is so unique.

DT inspiration for Lil pAtch of Crafty Friends challenge #28

It's new challenge day over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends and as always it is an anything goes challenge so go and join in with some of your fabulous creations.
I am lucky enough to be using one of our wonderful sponsors for the challenge images.
I chose this one as I wanted to have a go at layering it up.
Firstly I layered the image one on top of another and turned the flowers a little in my silhouette computer program. I coloured them all in with polychromos pencil
Here you can see the centre flower which i decided to be in the foreground is raised a little by adhering the same flower image on top of the first with foam mounting tape. Gives a great 3d look.
Here is my finished card.

Fred she said designs is offering a prize of 3 digital images for a lucky winner. They have some fabulous images some of which are floral which you too can layer up for a great creation.

Thanks for dropping by.

Aurora 'sloquet'

hello out there in blog land. Yesterday was release day for a new wonderful digital stamp from the East Wind. It is called Aurora 'sloquet' and is so much fun to colour. You can purchase the digital stamp >> here
Sloquet is a place in Canada I believe with man made pools fed by a small, all natural, and very hot waterfall. the pools stretch from the waterfall to the large and crashing Sloquet River.
Above is my creation using the new stamp. I started off colouring it with copics and finished off with polychromos for extra added detail.
I made and easel card and the sentiment is computer generated. I tried to colour it as if Aurora was dipping into the springs in the late evening, hence the dark water colour.
I hope you purchase the stamp and have  a go at colouring it.
Remember there are monthly challenges on The East Wind challenge blog>> here and also challenges on the east wind facebook page.
