Mermaid kathleen

Today I have kathleen, a digital stamp from Hannah Lynn, coloured up again.
I love this stamp from her range and decided to colour her up so i could enter a few challenges.
I have used polychromos pencils to colour the stamp and used inktense pencils to colour the shell behind her.

This is the card closed

this is the card open with a side view. You can see it is an easel card.
Below is the front view of the card open.
I designed the card base myself and cut it on the cameo.
I have embellished with a bit of blue glittery tulle, a twine bow and a metal charm hook which has caught the number 21 (for a 21st birthday)

i really love this design and I think i will be making it over and over again.

Hair Heaven

New release from The East Wind "Hair Heaven"
you can grab it here
This is my first try at colouring her up. I decided something different and went for rainbow!
Can't make your mind up on a hair colour why not go with 'em all, lol

And here is my second go at her and made her up in a clean and simple white card to let her hair take centre stage.
The frame was cut on the cameo. I cut the frame twice and stuck one behind the image then i layered the image on top of that then used foam mounting tape to raise the top frame to make it look as though it really is in a frame. The cardstock is coconut from Kaisercraft.
I have used polychromos pencil to colour her.

Tainted Love

Its new digital stamp release day at The East Wind today (technically a few weeks ago but for some reason this didn't publish as i had set it to)
Here is the sneak I shared with you all the other day
and here is the reveal. this is Lucy Loo 'tainted love'

Unky has drawn another great punk image with attitude.
I have coloured Lucy with polychromos pencils and watercoloured the background with inktense pencils. She was such a cool image i had to make a snazzy easel card with it. I used some scraps of paper I had and embellished with a metal heart with wings charm.
Go and grab her via this link and have some fun colouring her up.

Don't forget you can see all my creations and sneak peeks of upcoming east wind stamps via instagram. You can follow me @ericabruton

Aurora Siesta II

Its new release day at The East Wind today for the new gorgeous digital stamp from Unky called Aurora 'Siesta II'
This is the sneak peek i shared on Instagram @ericabruton

And here is the reveal of my creation.
I adore this new image and so loved colouring her and making this card. i used Polychromos to colour her in and derwent inktense pencils for the watercolour background. The cardstock is all from Kaisercraft and the die i used at the top is a spellbinders die, sorry i forget which set its from. The leaves die is from lala land crafts (Berry flourish). The flowers are from I am roses. I used their new flower S15 and one of my favourites the S10 flowers both in pink. I have also used liquid pearls here and there to look like berries or flower buds.
You can purchase the Aurora digital stamp here .
You can see Unkys speed colouring video here.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges

Travis' version of Aurora 'love you'

Travis is at it again. Colouring almost like a pro. He is this time colouring in Aurora 'Love You' from The East Wind. You can get this stamp here
I cropped the image for him so he could focus on the face more.
As you can see he is using a coloured version of mine for a reference. He is trying to learn the light source and where to darken his shading. He is getting there and with more practice he will be better than most of us :)

And here is his finished card. I helped him arrange the flowers and told him when to stop adding things. He can go a bit overboard with his glitter glues :)
HE is so proud of his creation and so am I
He wanted to enter another challenge so this one will be entered into the following
The East Wind facebook challenge #13 I'm ready for my close up
A gem of a challenge #139 - clean and simple
CMC #66 - Spring
