Glam Zombie

I'm baaack!
Here are a few progress pics of me colouring Glam Zombie from The East Wind in with Inktense pencils for starters then i finished off with polychromos. I have gone with the no lines version and it was my first go at colouring without them. It was tricky but i love the look when it was finished. Practice practice :)
Here she is all finished.
This is a valentines card i made as a custom order for a fab lady.

I have used one of my favourite card folds the Bookfold.

The East Wind new release Lucy Loo "Punk"

Hello again (waving)
Who is up for a new release from The East Wind??
This one is sure to impress. With her funky style and punky hairdo
Here is the sneak peek.....

and here she is, Lucy Loo 'Punk'
I have coloured Unkys latest digital stamp with polychromos pencils and fussy cut her out.
I used some spotty paper from my stash which i honestly can't remember where i got it from.
I mounted it on a card base made from Kaisercrafts licorice, papaya and bubblegum cardstock. (oooh it sounds good enough to eat, lol)
I used a starry border punch by Martha stewart to snazzy up the edge and I stuck on a computer generated 'you have attitude' to finish the card off.
You like?
If you wish to purchase this awesome digital stamp head on over to The East Wind etsy store and colour her up. Don't forget to show us your fab creation on The East Wind facebook group page :)

I will be entering this card in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge #357 - Colourful

Snow Queen

Hello again :)
Here is the Snow Queen from The East Wind. I saw this image coloured by one of the DT members and had to get it and give it a try myself. It is my first east wind stamp that i have coloured. I have been meaning to do so for quite a while but alas time is so hard to come by, isn't it :)
Anyway a call out was placed for some instagram DT members so i figured i would give it a go. couldn't hurt right?
The image itself is so amazing i thought i would keep the card design CleanAndSimple.
I have used some kaisercraft Frost cardstock for the card base and Coconut cardstock for the frame which i cut with my cameo. I glittered the frame with some Art Glitter by Barbara Trombley (its superfine). The image i coloured with faber castell polychromos pencils and boy was it a fun one to colour.

Its a bit hard to tell but i used the silver metallic pencil on the icy eyebrow decoration to give it some great detail.

I will also be adding this card into the following challenges

Gentle Heart

Hello (waving) all of you out in BLOG land.
I have taken some progress pics here as a few people wanted to know about my colouring.
I have never had lessons just done a lot of practice and i rekon i have my technique/style perfected :)
The image i have used to colour here is from Ching-chou- Kuik and called "Gentle Heart"
I have used Arches watercolour smooth paper at 185GSM
(Click on any of the pics to enlarge)
1st pic I have used inktense pencils and water with a small paintbrush to make a bit of a cloudy background and add some colouring to the stamp. I try and mimic the colours from the papers i will be using in my final card/creation

Pic 2 You can see i have begun adding details to her hair with some polychromos pencils. Make sure you have a sharp tip on your pencil and away you go. Colouring darkest where the light naturally cast shadows.

Pic 3 shows me outlining her skin trying to get a feel where i want my shadows to go.I have also coloured the hearts in their first tone of colour after they had been painted with the inktense in the beginning.

Pic 4 I have blended with the lighter of my skin coloured polychromos and now adding more depth of colour on the hearts and shadows of the skin.

Pic 5 more blending out with the lightest skin coloured polychromos on the girl and hearts.

Pic 5 Shaded the wing feathers and added gold metallic polychromos to the flowers (why not)

Here it is all done
I used kaisercraft cardstock and papers. The heart dies are "lace hearts" die from spellbinders and i used some baby's breath art glitter by Barbara Trombley on the centre diecut heart.

I will be entering the card into the "January - world of magic" challenge on Ching-chou Kuiks digital stamps facebook page

Green Moth Maiden

Hello again.
Here I have taken some progress shots of me colouring up "Green Moth Maiden" by Ching Chou Kuik. I have used polychromos pencils and a simple cheapy eraser to fix up any boo boos :)
I must admit, this is the first time i have gone unnatural colours for hair and once it was all finished and not on the card i was a bit unsure if it was gonna look any good. However i think it looks fantastic mounted on the card. I used kaisercraft blue jeans, neptune and lagoon cardstock. The kaisercraft patterned paper is from a 6.5 inch paper pad called Magic Happens. The doily die is from Cheery lynne (from memory) and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.
I have used a butterfly card fold.

If you would like to enlarge any of the photos just click on them :)

I will be entering this card into the Kit and Clowder facebook pallete challenge

Happy Hour

This card is a custom creation and i will be entering it in the Kenny K challenge #186 new beginnings
I have used the kenny k digital stamp "happy hour" and coloured it with inktense pencils and added sparkly details on the belt and straps of the dress with silver gel pen.
The card is in the form of a graduation cap and is to congratulate a lady on her graduation and moving into her next stage of her career, her new beginning :)
The customer wanted loads of flowers and matching colours to the school (royal blue cap) and the recipients favourite colour (tiffany blue).

I think it turned out fabulously.
