Hello again.
Here I have taken some progress shots of me colouring up "Green Moth Maiden" by Ching Chou Kuik. I have used polychromos pencils and a simple cheapy eraser to fix up any boo boos :)
I must admit, this is the first time i have gone unnatural colours for hair and once it was all finished and not on the card i was a bit unsure if it was gonna look any good. However i think it looks fantastic mounted on the card. I used kaisercraft blue jeans, neptune and lagoon cardstock. The kaisercraft patterned paper is from a 6.5 inch paper pad called Magic Happens. The doily die is from Cheery lynne (from memory) and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash.
I have used a butterfly card fold.
If you would like to enlarge any of the photos just click on them :)
I will be entering this card into the Kit and Clowder facebook pallete challenge
Thanks for dropping by.
Feel free to follow my blog :)

So pretty! And I love that doily die, might have to get myself one of those soon :)
ReplyDeleteErica, Happy New Year. What a stunning card you have made here which fits perfectly the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge Blog Monthly Challenge this month of “add some flowers and some ribbon”. Even more FANTASTIC is that you have used one of Ching-Chou Kuik's digital stamps. It is good sometimes to get out of our comfort zone as the hair colour is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDon’t forget you are entitled to two entries into the monthly Blog Challenge draw as you have used a Ching-Chou Kuik image. For the first entry link to the card/creation you have created. For your second entry just link to your main blog.
Thank you for entering, best wishes in the draw and for your continued support of this challenge. Kym (Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Design Team Leader)
