Fairy Wren

Hello again :)
I have a card here that I have made for someone special. I saw this image from Ching-chou kuik and had to purchase it and colour it up. (you can get it here)
I have used polychromos to colour the image and inktense pencils to water paint the background. i thought i would give it a kind of sunsetting kind of sky.
I have torn the mounting card and paper aswell as the image paper to fit it with the Ching-chous current challenge. I tried to keep the colours natural but also highlight the blue from the fairy wren which i coloured to look like the real Australian native fairy wren.
I will be entering this card into the following challenge
Ching-chou Kuik's February challenge - torn to pieces
Open minded Crafting challenge #29 No Pink and No Red
Crafting from the heart #46 Anything goes
