Reindeer

hello there (waving).

It's that time of year again when we all hunt down new stamps for our Christmas cards and the Aussie store Ericraft Stamps has two new cute reindeer digital stamps available and they are currently on sale (until the next new stamp comes along).

As you can see I have created a card using 'Reindeer'.

I colured the stamp with polychromos pencil on smooth watercolour paper.

The papers are from Kaisercraft as well as the die i used for the holly circle frame.

Hi there (waving)

 I released a new digital stamp a couple of weeks ago and it is still currently on sale. The digi is of my awesome dog Toby whom we had to put to sleep a few months back. He was 18yrs old, super furry and cuddly. An all rounder great dog.

I printed my stamp on kraft paper and away i went using my pencils. here you can see the polychromos white and inktense white

Getting into his black collar and eye

Two eyes looking at me :)

Bit of a tip to get really dark black is to go over with indigo and then black on top of that.

you can see here i have used some blending with odourless thinner. It helps get the colour on the card and then i can go over with the pencils.

Onto his front leg

Here he is all coloured. One gorgeous tri coloured border collie :)

I am going to now put this into a frame and hang it in my craft room :)

Bunny and Daffodils

Easter is on its way so i had to draw up a sweet little bunny and some flowers to make some cards with. I made the daffodils seperate so customers could layer them with the bunny if they wanted a field of daffodils.

Bunny turned out rather sweet if i may say so myself :p

I coloured the digital stamp with copic markers. It took quite a while to get the fur looking furry.

I used kaisercraft cardstock and patterned paper to make the card and embellished with a couple of stick on pearls.

So here is my first Easter card of the season. Now to decide who i will post it to :)

Hum

Hello out there (waving)

Ericraft Stamps has a new release digital stamp called 'Hum'.

I decided to colour the stamp with pencils and wanted the roses to match the paper i was going to use on my creation. You can see the polychromo pencils i selected to colour the first rose in the photo.

Here are the roses all coloured in. Nice huh?

I have finished the image by colouring in the Humming bird and the roses leaves.

I hand cut it out and...

attached it to the front of an easel card which i then attached to a small drawer box.

The cardstock i used was from Kaisercraft as well as the patterned paper. The paper pad is called "All that glitters" and has some gorgeous gold foil patterned papers and pink rose patterned papers. The little sentiment also came with the paper pad.

I finished off the drawer with a kaisercraft pearl brad and some gold and white twin from Whimsy Farm Twine which has some amazing colours of twine available in Australia ( i have quite a collection of their twine).

Now i have to find someone who would love this little drawer card :)

It is coming up to mother's day here in Australia. May 14th to be exact, so I thought I would design a new image for those cards for our wonderful mums.

So here is 'Hugs'.

Hugs are so special especially from our mum in those tough times we all encounter. Nothing beats a loving hug from mum.

I have coloured 'Hugs' with copic markers and used a bit of coloured pencil in the hair to give a few more details.

BBQ Santa

Christmas is coming so I thought I better get some digital stamps made ready to use on some cards this year. It is so hard to find Christmas stamps to suit Aussie Christmas. It is usually hot, people celebrate at the beach and my family always have a BBQ with our family and friends so I figured yep a BBQ Santa image would be perfect. So here he is 'BBQ Santa' which you can purchase from my etsy store now

Got to have an esky to keep the drinks cool and blue is the usually colour of these

A lovely green santa sack full of gifts

Not Christmas without our fellow companion, our dog. I have gone for a Kelpie breed here.

Here is the finished card. i mounted it on kaisercraft cardstock and the pattern paper is also from kaisercraft 'christmas basecoat' with lovely native foliage. I used my own initiative and cut out some gum leaf shapes and made teeny tiny gum blossoms. Stuck a couple of star buttons on and tada.

Love in a mist

Tada! My latest digital stamp is now in my etsy store

This digital stamp is called 'Love in a mist'. It is Spring in Australia and we have these pretty flowers blooming all throughout our front garden.

I coloured the stamp with copics and finished off with some details using pencil. I popped it onto a butterfly fold card and added some little white flowers and leaves.

This card is heading off to my mother in law for her birthday. Fingers crossed she loves it ;)

Die Laughing release

Just in time for you to colour up for Halloween creations is my new digital stamp called 'Die Laughing'. My father in law hates clowns so i figured what better way to scare him this season, mwahahaha.

You can find the digi in my EricraftShop etsy store . It will be on sale for the remainder of this month as part of the facebook Markers Papers Digi group Summerween event. Lots and lots of exciting stuff going on over there at the moment and plenty of stamp companies to play along with so pop by and have a look, even better join in :)

Below is my coloured up version of my new drawing. I love love love how it turned out. Even the rainbow wig on the other poor clown.

I used copics mainly for the colouring and added a bit extra detail with polychromos pencil and a bit of copic white ink. The phrase is computer generated. The moon i added with copics to go with the phrase.

I also mounted the image with foam tape just to lift it off for a bit extra detail :)

So there you have it, my new digi 'Die Laughing'.

Gypsy

A new release has come from Ericraft Stamps and it is called 'Gypsy'.

 I really enjoyed drawing and colouring this image and it is available now from my etsy store via the Ericraft Stamp Shop tab up the top :)

So I decided to dust off the copics and have another try with them.

I wanted a woodland feel to the image so a background was needed. I used the copics with nice decent brushstrokes to flick the colour onto the paper. 

I like to give a good basecoat with copics and then i like to add finer details with pencil as you can see in the next photo.

I really love how it turned out.  The sentiment is computer generated and I think fits the image perfectly 'All those that wander are not lost'. I added a few sequins just to add a bit of sparkle :)

Perhaps the horse needs longer hair just like the gypsy vanner horses? Anyways i like it all the same.

Rachel Fishing

Today I am sharing with you my latest digital stamp called "Rachel Fishing'.

I drew this stamp from a photograph of my little girl fishing from our boat while we were on holidays. you can see in the following photos the image coming to life :)

tada! I used polychromos to colour the image and a pencil stump to smooth the colouring to get it to look...well...smooth and blend extra nicely together.

This is going on a shelf in my craft room I think :)

You can purchase this digital stamp over at my EricraftShop etsy page via the tab at the top of my page or via this>> link . It comes in a zip file containing a 300dpi jpeg file as well as a no lines version and a png file and a No lines png version.
